Flegra Palace Hotel Greece: Luxury Near the Sea

Kassandra is the first finger in Halkidiki, Greece. Known for its crystal clear beaches and small beach towns, it is the closest of three peninsulas to the city of Thessaloniki. In mythology, it is known as the battleground when the Giants tried to drive out the Greek Gods from Mount Olympus. At the end of our Halkidiki adventure, we explored Kassandra and stayed at the luxurious four-star Flegra Palace Hotel, near the beach town of Pefkochori.
The hotel hosted us for three days, and from there we enjoyed nearby beaches, dined at beachside restaurants, and wandered through ancient ruins.
